A Graduation Like No Other
When our twelve-person team landed in Uganda last spring, the two training centers were half-built shells — open roofs, stacked bricks, and a field of hopeful faces. This month, forty-two students graduated from those same halls as certified tailors, carpenters and computer operators.
Give a family a food parcel and you feed them for a week. Teach a young mother tailoring and you change her grandchildren’s story. That conviction shaped everything: each center pairs vocational training with literacy classes, business basics and morning devotionals.
Charity meets the need of the moment; training rewrites the future.
What Your Giving Built
Two fully equipped centers serving 120 students a year. Six local instructors on salary. A childcare corner so young mothers can study. And a revolving tool fund — graduates borrow a sewing machine or toolkit, repay from earnings, and pass it to the next student.
Next year we break ground on center three, including our first computer lab. If you’d like to sponsor a student ($35/month covers fees, materials and lunch), write to us through the contact page — we’ll match you with a name, a photo and termly progress letters.
