Remember The Forgotten

Hope Behind Bars & Beyond

“I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Every Saturday morning, Kindlewood teams walk through the gates of Sun City Correctional Facility with Bibles, guitars and open hearts — and walk out changed themselves.

But our work doesn’t end at the gate. We stand with returning neighbours through their first ninety days home: a welcome kit, a ride to church, help with a résumé, and a family that refuses to let them walk alone.

What We Do

Inside, Outside & Always

Chapel Services

Saturday 10:00 am worship and Bible study inside Sun City Correctional Facility. Training provided; commitment of one Saturday a month.

Letters Of Hope

A handwritten letter can carry further than a sermon. Join our first-Tuesday circle to write encouragement to men and women inside.

Welcome Home

Ninety days of wraparound support after release — housing leads, résumé help, Sunday rides and a mentor who answers the phone.

Prison Ministry FAQ

None at all. New volunteers complete a two-session orientation plus the facility’s background check, and always serve alongside experienced team members.

Yes. Services happen in supervised chapel settings with officers present, and our team has served without incident for over a decade.

Absolutely — the letter circle, welcome-home kits and ride ministry all happen outside, and they matter just as much.
