Where The Spirit Is, There Is Freedom
Our autumn teaching series walked slowly through 2 Corinthians 3 — Paul’s breathtaking claim that the Spirit removes the veil and turns beholders into reflections. Week by week, testimonies multiplied: a decades-old grudge forgiven, a secret addiction confessed and conquered, a neighbour welcomed home.
Freedom, we learned, is not the absence of struggle but the presence of the Spirit in it. The same glory that shone on Moses’ face now shines — quieter, deeper — in ordinary believers who keep turning toward Jesus.
We don’t climb to a new life; the Spirit carries us into it, one unveiled morning at a time.
Carrying The Series Forward
Missed a week? All three sermon notes are online — start with “Reflect the Person of Jesus Christ” and work backward. Better still, join a small group: the series discussion guide (six sessions, no homework) is free at the welcome desk every Sunday.
And mark your calendar for our August evening of extended worship on this same theme — an unhurried night to behold Christ together. Details on the events page.
